From the muddy fields of Newsome to one of the world’s great sporting arenas.
And a close encounter with the world’s most beautiful and talented opera singers along the way!
Leroy Cudjoe, the young Huddersfield Giants star, savoured the glamour of meeting opera beauty Kathryn Jenkins in the Australian sporting capital of Melbourne.
It was part of the glorious journey rugby league star Cudjoe has taken in just six short years.
When the Huddersfield-born youngster was playing his junior rugby at Newsome Panthers, representing England would have been nothing but a dream.
But now the 22-year-old centre has made his full England debut against the might of Australia at the state-of-the-art AAMI Park stadium in Melbourne.
