Kirklees Council to hold fostering information session

POTENTIAL foster parents have been invited to learn more.

Kirklees Council is holding an information session at Huddersfield Town Hall from 5 to 8pm next Wednesday.

The council’s Cabinet member for children, Clr Ken Smith, said: “There are lots of different types of fostering, so whether you work full-time, part-time or not at all you can make a real difference to somebody’s life.

“This can involve caring for a local child from as little as a few nights each month right through to long-term foster care.”
