Rats fear at Fartown fly-tip site

FLYTIPPERS have littered a Huddersfield garden.

Rubbish has been dumped at the house on Spaines Road in Fartown for the past month.

Manjit Singh, of Birkby, plans to contact Kirklees Council to complain about the problem.

“Some of the rubbish looks like building waste while other looks like household waste,” he said.

“There are other places in Fartown, like Blackhouse Road and Dewhurst Lane, where people are using gardens as tips.

“It’s causing a hazard to the environment because it encourages rats.”
