Buses and roads on agenda at Skelmanthorpe meeting

HIGHWAYS winter preparation and the West Yorkshire Transport plans are on the agenda at the next meeting of the Mirfield, Denby Dale and Kirkburton Town and Valley Committee on December 2.

The West Yorkshire Local Transport Plan consultation seeks to find what travel issues are important to local people and gives them the chance to say what should be done to create a transport system to meet their needs as well as support the environment, the economy and their quality of life.

The meeting will start with the Police PACT meeting at 7.30 pm.
