Dad attacked for defending teen son - CCTV pictures of suspects

A MAN was attacked on a train in Kirklees after defending his son against two thugs.

The 14-year-old boy and his father were on the train making their way home from a Leeds Rhinos v St Helens Saints Rugby league match when the attack happened.

Two men accused the teen of pushing them as the train approached Dewsbury. His dad, a 46-year-old from Cross Gates in Leeds, was punched in the face then pushed off the train in Dewsbury.

The attack was only stopped when other passengers on the train intervened. The suspects left the service at Dewsbury.
