Yorkshire train chaos as Huddersfield passengers frozen out

TRAIN users in Huddersfield are facing another day of confusion and delays as more routes were suspended.
Northern Rail users, who are still having to cope with the Penistone Line which is again closed, can now add the closure of the Leeds - Dewsbury - Brighouse - Manchester Victoria line.
Alternative services are running via Bradford.
Northern's Leeds - Halifax - Brighouse - Huddersfield - Wakefield Westgate service is also suspended- but services to Manchester and Blackpool are running via Bradford.
East coast routes have also been affected.
East will continue to operate the revised timetable for the rest of the week, with services operating hourly between Leeds and London only.
Skipton, Keighley, Bradford Forster Square, Shipley, Harrogate and Horsforth will not see any EC service.
Southbound departures will generally be at 40 minutes past from Leeds and 52 minutes past from Wakefield Westgate.
From Wakefield Westgate to Leeds departures will generally be at 16 minutes past, arriving Leeds at 38 minutes past.
First TransPennine Express is running normal timetable is in operation but services are subject to delays.
Grand Central (West Riding) services are operating but due to line closures the trains cannot currently serve Halifax, Brighouse, Wakefield Kirkgate or Pontefract.
Cross Country services will operate but will be subject to delay.
