Two hurt in Huddersfield town centre crash

TWO men were hurt in a road accident in Huddersfield town centre.

They were crossing John William Street at its junction with Northumberland Street when they were hit by a red Toyota Yaris at 12.15am yesterday.

Both men are in their 30s. One from Newsome suffered a suspected broken ankle.

His friend from Denby Dale was slightly hurt.

The incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
