Film starring Huddersfield actress Natalie Gavin scoops award

A FILM starring a young Huddersfield actress has won an award.

The Arbor, which told the life story of playwright Andrea Dunbar, won a top award at the British Independent Film Awards.It scooped the Douglas Hickey Award for debut director, thanks to the work of Clio Barnard. The film starred University of Huddersfield student Natalie Gavin, 23, as Dunbar.
