Mackness Funeral Service offers unveils memorial tree
A REMEMBRANCE tree is to take centre stage at a Huddersfield memorial home.
Mackness Funeral Service in Moldgreen is providing the feature to help remember loved ones at Christmas which can be a particularly sad time for the bereaved.
Families and friends can visit the home and decorate the tree with cards in memory of the dead.
Mackness director Ron Jepson said: “This is the fifth year we have offered a memorial tree in honour of those who have died as it has always proved to be a great help for relatives and friends.
“We know that Christmas and New Year in particular is a time when people look back and remember those they’ve lost and we hope our memorial Christmas tree will again benefit the families concerned at this difficult time.”
The funeral home is open from 10am to 4pm and your cards can be left up until December 24.
