Huddersfield Afterparty rave with Fatboy Slim went off “without a hitch,” police say

A RAVE in Huddersfield went off “without a hitch” police say.

Saturday’s Afterparty event in Bates Mill ran from 10pm to 7am the following morning.

Some 1,000 people attended the party to listen to DJs including headline act Fatboy Slim.

Police said the event was well-run and there were no problems.

Sgt John McFadzean, of Huddersfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The door staff and security did a very good job and the whole event went off without a hitch.”

The organisers plan another event in March.
