Garden rubbish leads to fine for Rawthorpe woman Jade Jackson

A WOMAN who ignored orders to clear rubbish from her garden has been fined.

Jade Jackson, 23, was told to remove items including baby seats and broken furniture from her garden at Rawthorpe Lane in Rawthorpe, Huddersfield magistrates heard.

But after the litter clearance notice was ignored, Kirklees Council enlisted a private contractor to shift the rubbish.

Jackson was then ordered to attend court after failing to pay a fixed penalty notice.

She was fined £100 with a £15 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £100 in court costs.
