Almondbury Church’s festive panto

A CHRISTMAS singalong and supper at All Hallows, Almondbury, raised £625 for church funds.

A rendition of Joy to the World was performed by the All Hallows Handbell Ringers followed by a production of the pantomime Aladdin.

Church member Ann Jones read the poem A New Nativity, written by the broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh and Rita Chambers recited Harvey Ehrlich’s poem ‘Twas the night before Christmas and Santa’s a wreck.

The evening concluded with a festive supper. Ian Topping was the compère.
