Two arrested over Kirkheaton 'Hanoi' burglary

TWO men have been arrested after burglars stole two cars and then plundered the bank accounts of their victims.

As reported on the Examiner’s front page yesterday, intruders got into a house through a conservatory window on Heaton Moor Road, Kirkheaton, in the early hours of Saturday morning between 12.30am and 10.30am.

They stole the keys to an Audi A4 and a Renault Laguna, and then took the cars along with bank cards.

A short time later the stolen cards were used to withdraw a large amount of cash from a machine outside a Tesco Express store on Leeds Road in Bradley.

Two Huddersfield men, aged 20 and 23, were being questioned by police yesterday.
