A COUPLE will celebrate 25 years of marriage – by walking from Huddersfield to Benidorm.
Debbie and Rob Frost are taking to the streets for charity, raising money for Cancer Research.
The Slaithwaite couple have dubbed the trip their ‘walk to the church’ – once they arrive in Benidorm they will renew their wedding vows.
Their route will cover 450-miles of land and is the equivalent of over 17 marathons.
It will take them 15 days to walk to Portsmouth, then they’ll get a boat over to Santander and then they have a further 12 days of walking to Benidorm.
Debbie, 45, said: “We’ve done the mileage, but just not five days in a row.
“Because we both work we try to get out at the weekend and do 20 miles in a day.
“Everyone thinks we’re mad for doing it, but we both enjoy walking.
