KIRKHEATON Primary School received five star treatment from Huddersfield Town when they visited the Galpharm Stadium as part of the club’s School Partnership Scheme.

More than 60 schools have signed up to Town’s free schools initiative. Kirkheaton is receiving school kits and stadium visits.

Over 100 pupils from the school had an hour’s football coaching at The Zone before the children headed over to the stadium for a tour of the stadium from Town’s Club Ambassador Andy Booth. He showed the pupils around the changing rooms, dug outs and the boardroom.

Schools interested in joining the scheme should email rachel.taylor@htafc.com or call 01484 484113.
