A LORRY driver escaped injury when his truck hit a bridge in Mirfield this afternoon.
The lorry became wedged beneath the railway bridge spanning Station Road, about 3pm.
The road was closed because of the accident.
Police said there were no injuries.
An engineer has been called to check the safety of the bridge, which runs alongside Mirfield railway station.
