Suspected burglar gets stuck in window in Huddersfield - and has to be rescued by police and fire service

A SUSPECTED burglar was arrested after getting stuck in the window of a Huddersfield house.

The man became trapped in a ground floor window of a home in The Triangle at Paddock.

He is believed to have been trying to break into the house when he got stuck.

Police were called to the scene at 7pm on Friday night but were unable to free the man.

They called in help from West Yorkshire Fire Service. A crew arrived from Huddersfield Fire Station and removed the window frame in 20 minutes.

The man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Huddersfield Police Station for questioning.
