A MAN has been banned from every shop in Huddersfield town centre.
Drunken beggar and thief Dean Grundell was handed the two-year ban by magistrates in Huddersfield after numerous abusive incidents.
He is also banned from Huddersfield railway station, after repeatedly harassing passengers, and has been ordered not to beg in the town centre.
It is one of the most draconian bans ever sought by civic officials.
His photo will be circulated to shops so that staff can watch out for him.
Officials of Kirklees Safer Stronger Communities project successfully applied at court for the ban, after Grundell broke the terms of a previous anti-social behaviour order.
Grundell, 39, of Garforth Street, Aspley, had been accused of a catalogue of offences over the past five months.
Theft of food from shops
Theft of clothing
