A WOMAN was buried alive in a Huddersfield wood.

It is alleged Michalina Lewandowska, 27, was dumped after being shot with an electrical stun gun at her home in Penistone Road, Waterloo, tied up and bundled into a cardboard box .

According to police sources, she was then taken to a countryside near Woodsome Hall Gold Club where she was buried in the box and a tree trunk was placed on top of her.

Ms Lewandowska was discovered by a member of the public just after midnight on Sunday near Woodsome Hall Golf Club at Fenay Bridge.

Her partner, Marcin Kasprzak, with whom she has a three-year-old son, appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday accused of kidnapping and attempting to kill her.

Kasprzak, 25, also of Penistone Road, was also charged with possessing electrical stun gun.

His 17-year-old co-defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with kidnap and attempted murder.

Neither defendants’ solicitors asked for bail during the 20-minute hearing.

Polish interpreters translated the proceedings for the pair, who were both wearing blue trousers and red jumpers.

The defendants were remanded in custody and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on Monday, June 6

The 17-year-old blew a kiss to a woman in the public gallery as he was led away to the cells. She put her head in her hands and began to cry.

Police also arrested a 49-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman in connection with the incident on Sunday.

The pair have been released on bail pending further police inquiries. Anyone with information can call 01484 436664 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
