IT’S a sign of the times – and a misspelt one at that.

Engineers working on new gas pipes in Ramsden Street, Huddersfield, thoughtfully put up a sign to tell shoppers all shops and offices remained open.

But they didn’t quite get things right – spelling ‘businesses’ with an added ‘s’ on the end.

It brought a smile or two to passers-by.

The work is being done by Enterprise on behalf of Northern Gas Networks.
