A MAN jailed for his part in a New Year’s Eve brawl which left two men in hospital has had his jail term cut by a third on appeal.
Well-known amateur footballer Kelvin Ashford Pusey, 26, of Town Avenue, Bradley Mills, was involved in a fight outside the Mansion Nightclub in Huddersfield town centre on New Year’s Eve last year.
During the incident Birmingham man Adon Lynch was stabbed and suffered a punctured lung.
Another man, Ashton Lattibeaudiere, was stabbed four times inside the club and also suffered a punctured lung.
Pusey, who had kicked Mr Lynch during the attack outside, was jailed for 18 months on February 15 this year, after pleading guilty to violent disorder at Bradford Crown Court.
