Det Insp Mark Truelove appeals for the public's help to solves crimes in Kirklees.
A TERRIFYING brawl in Huddersfield is at the centre of a major police inquiry.
The officers efforts have been hampered – because none of those involved have made complaints, even though some were badly injured.
But now the investigation into the mass fight at Cross Church Street has led to a number of arrests.
And we have an appeal to get the public to help us trace one of the people involved.
He was captured on one of the CCTV films and images that detectives have been trawling in a bid to find evidence.

My appeal this week is for information from the public to help us catch up with this man wanted in connection with a fight in Huddersfield back in March.
In the early hours of Saturday March 19, two groups of men were involved in a fight on Cross Church Street.
The men had a disagreement on King Street some time earlier that morning and at 3.30am the fight started on Cross Church Street.
It spilled over from the street into the Chicken Hut takeaway.
Some of the men involved used their belts during the fight, causing nasty injuries to some of those involved.
None of the people involved ever came forward to the police however, but due to the scale of the incident and the reports from innocent members of the public who witnessed the fighting, we were able to investigate the incident.
Those investigations have led officers to arrest four men.
These men have now either been charged with affray and possessing offensive weapons and are going through the courts, or are on bail.
However, one of the suspects has managed to evade detection.
His ‘associates’ have not given us his name so I am therefore releasing a CCTV image of this man in the hope that someone will recognise him and give us a call.
As always, if people are concerned about leaving their details with the police, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
