COACH firm National Express is considering launching a trans-Pennine service to Manchester Airport.
Passengers currently have to change at Manchester coach station.
Managing director Andrew Cleaves said the company was reviewing its airport network.
There could also be a trans-Pennine service to Liverpool’s John Lennon airport. But it could not yet be confirmed if Huddersfield would be a pick up point.
