HISTORIC images of Huddersfield are being given away by the Examiner this week.

Starting today, the sales team will be offering nostalgic prints with each copy of the Examiner bought at selected outlets.

Readers can choose a photo of Town playing Spurs at a packed Leeds Road ground in 1953, an image of Market Place from the same year or a shot of a railway viaduct in Huddersfield.

The sales team will be at: W H Smiths, Mon-Fri (10am-2pm), Sainsburys in Market Street, Mon-Thur (10am - 2pm) and Golcar Co-op, Thurs-Sat (9am-3pm).
