Workers asked to don outfits for road safety charity Brake

ROAD safety charity Brake is calling on people to don neon tutus and fluorescent leg warmers to raise money.

It wants companies to stage a Bright Day, a dress-down day with a difference. The idea is everyone turns up wearing insanely bright clothes and gives a pound to the Huddersfield-based charity while also reminding drivers to slow down and watch out for pedestrians and cyclists.

Cash raised helps the charity run road safety campaigns, education programmes and support families bereaved and injured by road crashes.
