WITH flour on the faces and sauce on their aprons, these little pizza-makers cooked for charity.
Organisers from Hinchliffe’s Farm, Netherton, and Pizzatainment arranged the fun day in aid of the Joseph Salmon Trust.
Nearly 40 children enjoyed tossing dough and selecting their pizza toppings from the farm shop’s organic produce.
Hinchliffe’s restaurant manager Louise Bonnar said: “I met the guys from children’s party specialists Pizzatainment at the Huddersfield Food Festival and knowing that it was half term I thought it might be a good idea to put this together.
“It is also a great way of raising awareness of and money for the Joseph Salmon Trust.
“Neil and Rachael Salmon are my neighbours and I think the work they do is amazing.
“What they deal with is rather a taboo subject, which is awful.
“Nobody prepares themselves for having to put money aside for their child’s gravestone.
