A TEENAGER broke his bail conditions to attend an event in Huddersfield.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, was before Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday. He is due to appear before Dewsbury magistrates on December 19 to be sentenced for attempted robbery and handling stolen goods. The Cleckheaton teen’s bail conditions included a curfew between the hours of 9pm and 7am. His solicitor Bob Carr said the teenager had missed the last bus home because he was attending the Festival of Light celebrations.
Magistrates agreed to readmit the teenager to bail on the same conditions as before.
