THE Highways Agency have re-opened the M62 slip-road at Outlane.

The westbound entry slip-road at Outlane has been closed all day after fears that a building struck by fire this morning could collapse on it.

Fire crews were called to the building fire at the far end of New Hey Road in Outlane at 6.20am and have been at the sceen throughout the day.

The blaze was visible from the eastbound carriageway of the M62 around Junction 23.
