A MAN has appeared before Huddersfield magistrates accused of attempted burglary.

Steven Morgan was before the court via a video link from Leeds prison.

He is accused of attempting to enter a property on Thornhill Avenue, Lindley, with intent to steal.

Morgan, 35, admits breaking the window with a stone but denies intending to burgle the house.

He will next appear in the court on February 28 for trial.

Morgan was granted technical bail as he was recalled to prison on licence.
