YOUNG unemployed people can help build themselves a better future.
A free construction course is starting and unemployed young people who live in Kirklees can apply for a place on the course starting this spring.
The Level 1 course covers the skills needed for a career in two popular areas of construction – brickwork and drystone walling.
Each course is part-time (between 15 -21 hours a week) and will run for 18 weeks.
The courses are ideal for anyone aged 16-17, not currently in work, education or training who is looking to start a career in construction.
