VOLUNTEERS are wanted to help raise money for Guide Dogs in Huddersfield.
People are being asked to get involved by organising events, social evenings, quiz nights or charity collections to fund the £50,000 it costs to train each dog.
Community fundraiser Lily Prestwood said: “It costs nearly £50,000 to breed, train and support each guide dog partnership and as the charity receives no Government or statutory funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of the public.
“We are interested in hearing from anyone, regardless of how much time you have to give.
“Fundraising for the charity is flexible and interesting so please get in touch to find out more.”
