A LINTHWAITE man has appeared in court accused of stealing from a vulnerable man.
Jonathan Wallace, of Hoyle House Fold, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
He is alleged to have taken items from John Senior, who suffers from mental health difficulties.
Alex Bosman, prosecuting, said that Wallace took keys from Mr Senior as he drove him around in his car.
Wallace, 29, then allegedly used the keys to gain access to his Crosland Moor home.
He is alleged to have taken a laptop, TV and mobile phone from Mr Senior’s property.
Wallace gave no indication as to what his plea will be at the Huddersfield court.
Magistrates said that his case will be eventually dealt with at crown court.
Wallace will appear before the magistrates’ court again on April 12.
He was remanded in custody until that date.
