A MAN was hauled before magistrates after ignoring a court order to stay out of town.
David Green, of Hill Top Road, in Paddock, was up before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
The Huddersfield court was told that he was given an interim anti-social behaviour order on January 19.
This was made because of the drunken antics of himself and a group in St Peter’s Gardens.
Part of the order banned him from entering the town centre as defined by the ring road.
But Green breached this on February 17 when he was seen near Huddersfield Bus Station on Upperhead Row.
Ian Whiteley, defending, said that the 50-year-old is due back before the court in May for a final hearing to decide whether a full order should be granted.
He said that he is one of a group of eight people who Kirklees Council has made applications against.
