A MAN was robbed of his mobile phone by sick thieves as he suffered an epileptic fit.

Kierlan Morgan, 21, of Dalton was walking along Red Doles Lane yesterday when he suffered the episode.

But it wasn’t until he had come round and paramedics asked if they could contact his family that he discovered his Blackberry mobile phone had been stolen.

Mr Morgan, who takes twice-daily medication and suffers a seizure about once a month, said: “It’s just disgusting that while I was lying in the street having a fit, someone could go through my pockets.

“You would have hoped they would help me, not rob me.

“It’s just sickening.”
