AUTHOR Andy McNab is coming to Huddersfield to give a talk. The bestselling action author – who wrote titles including Bravo Two Zero – will be at Huddersfield Town Hall on Monday, June 11.

Tickets have gone on sale for the event which will include a talk, questions and answers session and book signing.

The writer – who served in the forces – draws extensively on his own experiences and knowledge of Special Forces soldiering. An infantry soldier, he became a member of the 22 SAS Regiment in 1984 and was involved in special operations worldwide.

During the Gulf War he commanded the Bravo Two Zero patrol and was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal and Military Medal during his military career.

McNab was the British Army’s most highly decorated serving soldier when he finally left the SAS in February 1993.

He wrote about his experiences in three books: Bravo Two Zero, Immediate Action and Seven Troop.

He is also author of the Nick Stone thrillers and other fiction and non-fiction titles. He has sold more than 10m books in the UK alone.
