ALL sports matches on Kirklees Council pitches have been cancelled for the forthcoming weekend say the local authority.

Prolonged bad weather has led to flooding on some pitches whilst others are waterlogged and unplayable.

All matches to take place on April 28 and 29 have been called off as a result.
