HE’S currently recording with his X Factor band mates and preparing to perform at gigs around the country.

But The Risk’s Ashford Campbell took a few hours out from his busy schedule to come home and join these Huddersfield dancers.

In a bid to give children a taste of their new drama and vocal coaching classes, The Audrey Spencer School of Dance held a free workshop.

With many of Ashford’s friends having trained at the school, he was invited to come along and talk to the group about his experience.

Principal Joanne Perkins said: “The children had the opportunity to ask Ashford about his experience in auditioning and what was involved in working as a singer and recording artist. “They were really excited to have him there and he answered all their questions with genuine interest and encouragement and even took them through some vocal exercises.

“We were lucky to have the pleasure of Ashford’s company as he was just home after a break from gigging and is about to start recording with The Risk this week.
