THE year was 1985 and it was certainly a memorable one for music.
It was the year of the spectacular Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium on July 13 and a host of American pop stars also got together together to record We Are The World to raise money for Africa. Wham! became the first western pop group to play in China at the Beijing Workers Stadium and Madonna embarked on her first tour.
