Milnsbridge man in court accused of £23k theft from his Huddersfield employers

A MAN accused of stealing over £23,000 worth of stock from his employers has appeared in court.

Ian Taylor, of Manchester Road in Milnsbridge, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.

He is accused of stealing cash and jewellery worth £23,957 from Cash Converters in Market Street, Huddersfield.

The alleged offence took place on March 6 this year.

Magistrates committed his case to Leeds Crown Court, where he will first appear on June 15.

Taylor, 37, was given a bail condition to comply with the Drug Intervention Programme.
