Netherton children enjoy tea part by royal appointment
TODDLERS wore crowns for their Queen’s Diamond Jubilee party.
The 24 children at Netherton Pre-school, in Netherton Methodist Church, baked buns, had their faces painted and attended a special tea party.
Pre-school manager Jeanette Battye said: “We showed them pictures of the Queen so they know who she is and we released balloons with tags on them, hoping the Queen might get one.
“The children loved it.”
