JORDAN Rhodes is staying in Huddersfield.
Or at least his namesake Jogging Jubilant Jordan is – unlike her seven sisters who are on the transfer list.
Jordan is one of the adorable golden retriever puppies that were born on the weekend Town savoured Wembley success in the play-offs.
And all have been given Kennel Club names by their Town-mad owners, Lorraine and Graham Pearson, that reflect the successful penalty-takers in the nailbiting win over Sheffield United.
The couple, who are season ticket holders down at the Galpharm Stadium, were unable to get to the big match because Jordan’s mum Holly, their two-year-old retriever bitch, was about to give birth.
In the end, Holly gave birth to 10 pups in the early hours of Sunday morning – just a few hours after Town won promotion.
Sadly one of the pups was stillborn and another died later.
But the mischievous survivors are now racing about the Pearson family home in Denby Dale and proving a real handful for Lorraine, Graham and their daughters Stacey, 25, and Hayley, 21.
Lorraine said: “We were toying with names and decided to mark Town’s great win.
