Man banned from Huddersfield town centre shops in court

A MAN banned from entering much of Huddersfield town centre has appeared in court again.

Lexus Wakefield, of Richmond Flats in Southgate, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.

He admitted stealing sweets from the Poundland store in Victoria Lane.

This put him in breach of an order banning him from entering any shop in the town, the Huddersfield bench was told.

Alex Bozman, prosecuting, said that Wakefield was seen in the budget store on June 14.

Wakefield, 28, then took £5 worth of sweets and stuffed them into his pockets.
