A WOMAN was injured in a motorway crash which caused her vehicle to overturn.

The accident, attended by all emergency services, happened on the eastbound carriageway of the M62, near junction 25 at Brighouse, at about 5.45pm yesterday.

It is believed her black saloon car and a silver Toyota Prius were in collision causing the black car to flip.

A female, who managed to free herself from the black car, was spotted clutching her head by motorists.

The woman driver was taken to hospital but her injuries were not thought to be serious.

It is thought the driver and two passengers of the Prius escaped unhurt or with minor injuries.

Two lanes of the M62 were closed causing tailbacks.
