HUDDERSFIELD TOWN winger Adam Hammill remains on police bail over an alleged assault in Liverpool city centre.

Hammill was arrested just hours after he came on as a sub in Town’s 1-0 victory at Birmingham.

Hammill, 24, on loan from Wolves, is alleged to have assaulted two female paramedics after an incident at about 4am on Sunday October 7.

A spokesman for Merseyside police said yesterday: “A 24-year-old man from Bootle remains on police bail pending further enquiries”.
