Huddersfield shopkeeper threatened with knife and gun in terrifying raid

A MASKED gunman is being hunted after a raid on a Huddersfield shop.

The thug struck at Top News in Colne Road, threatening an assistant with a gun and a knife. A shop assistant was forced to hand over  cash after being threatened  by thed gunman.

The man, wearing a balaclava  and gloves, burst into Top News, brandishing a handgun and a knife. He thrust a bag at shop assistant  Kam Chu, 38, and demanded  cash. Mr Chu, who has worked at the  24-hour general store for two years,  grabbed notes out of the till. Police have appealed for witnesses.
