A CAR skidded on ice in Causeway Side, Linthwaite, this afternoon and rolled into a house wall. 

The car had been parked and police said no-one was hurt and there was no damage to the house.  

The incident happened as ice and freezing fog hit Huddersfield - and on a hill, pictured above, which became an infamous skating rink last winter when people had to resort to crawling across on their hands and knees.
