3,000th babe born in Huddersfield Birth Centre

HE may not know it yet but little James Jack is a cause for celebration.

The youngster has become the 3,001st baby to be born in the Huddersfield Birth Centre at the Royal Infirmary.

James was born very shortly after the 3,000th baby, whose family wanted to remain anonymous. He weighed in at 7lbs 1oz.

And there were celebrations all round to mark the occasion.

Mum Jennie-Lee Jack, from Crosland Moor, celebrated her 40th birthday with the arrival of little James junior in the week the centre, at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, celebrated its own fifth birthday.

Baby James is Jennie-Lee’s third child and is a special joy following the heartache of two miscarriages for her and husband James.

Jennie-Lee said: “It’s been a very special 40th for me.
