A MAN who admitted making child pornography using girls as young as three in Huddersfield must sign the sex offenders’ register for five years.

Richard Bugg, 37, has also confessed to possessing extreme images – including animal porn.

Bugg, of Campbell Street in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court yesterday.

Judge Neil Clark sentenced Bugg to a community order with a supervision requirement for three years.

He ordered him to sign the sex offenders register for five years and made him the subject of a sexual prevention order until further notice.

The court heard at an earlier hearing the defendant originally denied the charges, but later he changed his mind and pleaded guilty to 20 counts of making indecent images of children on or before October 6, 2011.

The girls involved were aged between three and 15.

Bugg also confessed to having 3,063 level one photographs, one at level 2, 10 at level 3 and two at level 4.

Images classed as level 4 show penetrative sex involving a child and adult.

Bugg also owned up to 10 counts of possessing extreme pornographic images, including 65 level five bestiality pictures.

The court heard he admitted accessing a website that showed “adult bestiality” and there was evidence he had gone to a second website, although it was not made clear if he had been forcibly re-directed by his web browser or not.
