A BUSY road in Huddersfield was closed this morning after a crash.

Police had to shut the Huddersfield-bound carriageway of Bradford Road at Hillhouse after a car overturned.

The 70-year-old male driver of the Toyota was shaken but otherwise uninjured.

As well as delays, a number of bus services, including the 328 and X63, had to be diverted.

It's not the first unusual incident that has left other motorists scratching their heads.

In February a driver managed to get a car wedged with two wheels off the ground on bollards close to Gledholt Roundabout. Click here to see our story.
