Popular pony ... Minnie the pony was the star attraction at a spring fair held by Quarry Hill Playschool, Waterloo, in May 1992.
Sophie Cuthbert, a member of the playgroup, took her pony to the fair to give rides to the other children.

The event was held at St Michael’s and St Helen’s Church, Waterloo, where the playschool met, and it also included a stall, a tombola and raffle.
Proceeds amounted to £55 to help pay for the playschool’s outdoor sandpit.
